While murder stats are a good indicator of the rise in crime, I think tracking on stats of numbers of shootings per day and location can help us keep each other safe as we see a rise in collateral’s

Schizophrenic episode. Unknown if he was taking the meds prescribed by the doctor. Yuh know how everybody else know more than doctors these days.


This kind of sheit happens all over, all the time. It's outrageous, but these psychotic episodes are literal moments of uncontrolled insanity. Current society on the ignorance, denial and general apathy of the State and everyone really toward mental illness.

The holder of a firearm user's license shot and killed his wife before turning the gun on himself near a primary school in San Fernando, 10 months after the couple got married.

• Around 6:30am, Keisha-Marina Bostic was leaving her home at Drayton Street, San Fernando, when she was confronted by her estranged husband, Shamzard Mohammed, who shot her multiple times about the body.

• Shamzard then turned the gun on himself and fired a single shot. He died at the scene of the shooting while Bostic was taken to the San Fernando General Hospital by relatives but was declared dead.

• Mohammed lived at Reece Road, Barrackpore, after the couple separated two months ago. They got married in January of this year.

• The incident occurred mere metres away from the Anstey Memorial Girls’ Anglican School.
