Taxpayers money could be better spent elsewhere than on subsidising fuel - like on social grant and senior citizens pensions, food support, disability and social assistance grants, water supply, electricity and rebates, airbridge, inter-island ferry service, free transport for senior citizens and students, GATE, CDAP, CAL, pandemic funding and other areas,

I disagree. Block the highways...main roads.....cause the disruption and inconvenience to the entire country. Never forget the day of total policing and its long lasting bitter taste it left all because the TTPS stood for something.

Don’t forget that some roads also fall under the purview of the regional corporations so more confusion regarding this.

Correct and some roads are orphans, where I live the TPRC says the roads fall under ABC, ABC says the roads are private, so we had to implement our own traffic controls (humps) and signage, now we have some potholes and will have to repair them ourselves as well, meanwhile garbage collection falls under TPRC but not the roads. Such roads won't get a taste of the $100M, waiting to see which secondary roads will benefit, won't be surprised if it's the same roads that get repaved repeatedly
