I bought an EGO wacker off amazon last year. Awesome tool. I get 20-25 minutes from a full charge, which serves my needs. Not a huge yard, but plenty un-evenness, things to work around etc. so it still gets good jamming. Once my grass is under control, I am finished with extra charge, because I don't need to run full throttle to cut heavy grass
Light, quiet (only noise is the string murdering grass), powerful enough, power-head makes re-stringing a 45 second job, and best of all, simplicity...just pick it up, walk into the yard, and start cutting...no more premix, yanking pull-start cord, maintenance etc
A ful charge should be enough for 40x40..if not...chillax for half an hour while it recharging, and complete the job
Perfect review bro, thanks.

If you have a small back yard an electric is the way to go .

Just a quick brush - and a maybe a lil squeak .

But if you have a big back yard then go with the highest HP possible and you may need a blower .

Use premium gas on both . It's cleaner .

Do not buy the chinese made since they are a bit small and need regular service.

Best bang for your buck: craftsman self propelled RWD automatically mulches the grass for an even finish. 6299ttd

Rest of tools are all Ryobi Brushless 40v tools. Have the 40v blower an 40v carbon fiber weed wacker. All home depot and shipped. Make sure you're selecting Brushless

I have 2 acres of area around my property and these tools get it done in 2-3 hours. Rarely need a battery swap. Wacker is stronger than any gas powered I've used. I assume it's the large brushless motor.

Now looking for a Ryobi Riding mover that can use my same 40v batteries. Price is looking like 4k usd.

Updating

What prices basic push mowers going for now? Have a yard machines for like 5 years, engine's solid but deck is rusted out and broke with me today.
Also they still making mowers with aluminum decks?
Feel regular sheet metal would just rust again

I see a decent looking one for a good price, $2800 for self propelled. Only thing I find weird is the brand, Torque. There is literally zero info online about it other than the fact that Farfan carries some of their equipment. Anyone ever heard about that brand or who makes it?
