Rest assured this isnt my first or only port of call ... you never know ... someone here might have scored some somewhere.

There have been folks asking for business and relationship advice on this forum general information on a now scarce commodity is small thing in comparison.

Stethan drugs in Heartland Plaza. I've heard people say Unisom works good as someone said here.

If it's not available , get the doc to prescribe an alternative. Spasms , anxiety , seizures can all be treated with other drugs .

Apparently the company that was importing it hasnt imported it for this year ... This medication prescribed for alot of different illnesses ... at this point I am more than a little annoyed that the doctor continued to prescribe this knowing that it isnt being imported. There are alternatives so we will see.

Diazepam is the generic. I have a dog that gets it for seizures.

It's on the WHO list of critical medicines so I can't imagine that it will be unavailable for long. The order has probably been sitting at the port for two months waiting for the shipment to clear.

Not on this end.

I have been noticing that quite a large number of people have sleeping issues.

Another set, the brain keeps running and processing stuff.

Cant help but wonder who else uses what.

bluefete's post on the sleeping pills got me thinking about this.

Are there still drug shortages in Trinidad right now? Pharmacies have been out of valium for years. Apparently the shortage has a lot to do with covid.

Public institutions are short on some stuff. My aunt who we look after is on sertraline prescribed by St Ann's however for the past few months we have had to get her the branded version Zoloft. Pretty expensive stuff.

Aye boy first time ah ole post of mine get dig up ... lol ... still on an alternative that is being well tolerated.

The one thing that this pandemic has revealled is our healthcare system needs to be overhauled but I guess foreign exchange is better used to acquire ministers personal vehicles than medication.

Anyone had any side effects from this ? Do you actually feel a difference with these anxiolytics ?

In my experience with the drug many years ago, it offered little to no help. It turned me into a zombie at work and in general so I had to cut the course short, even though I lessened the dosage. Feeling dohtish and being unable to function is not what I would consider being helpful.

APO-Sertraline 50mg should be back in stock, still expensive but not as much as brand name Zoloft. (Around $10 ea)
