Brought a lot of those LED shop lights and yard down lights Pricemart had in 2015. Set them up and working every day since... blinding neighbors like wow.

That's due to a manufacturing defect?
The ones i used to buy in the earlies hardly gave trouble, but I find recently almost all of them start that irritating flickering sheit shortly after.

A design of cheapness. I covered it in a post on page 1 of this thread.

I have Philips, Sylvania and Satco in my house with no issues about a year now. I replaced the florescent self ballast bulbs to LED exactly a year ago with no issues either. I dont know the brand but all I know is that we got it from boodoos.

If the Sylvania and Satco ever decide to call it quits, I'll go 100% Philips.

Btw: I encourage you all to log into the T&TEC appointment system to reserve your bulb collection. I got a date in late October for pos branch.

all the cheap bulbs have inferior power circuits which is what results in the flickering

They Should put a hold on the free light bulbs and provide laptops and Free Internet to those community children that really need it. Waste of fr1gg1ing tax payers money.
No such thing as free- you already paying for 4 bulbs with your taxes

One of those 9W LED bulbs is about $20 for one and they doesn't last long. I using LED ( tried 3 different brands and different suppliers because I buy it wholesale for about $25 for the 15w ) for about 2 years and the money you supposed to be saving in electricity you paying in replacing the bulbs. the compact fluorescent last many times longer than the LED

i recommend that you take a marker and write the date on the base of the bulb
so when you have to change you can check how long it lasted

AFAIK

TTEC purchases NG at a discount to market prices from NGC.

Pays Powergen etc to produce Elec from NG supplied.

TTEC sells us at .05 USD per Kwh

does ngc make a loss when selling ng to powergen? or is there still a profit margin?
