She reported that while the recount of the ballots has been completed, the count of poll cards was still ongoing. As at 5 pm, 22 boxes of poll cards, out of 54, were still to be completed.

It was a statement by the ebc indicating that the count was at 22 of 54 and as such it is expected that the count be done today....

If you check the ebc site....it is all there.

SCORES of angry workers gathered outside the El Dorado, Eastern Main Road campaign office of defeated UNC Tunapuna candidate David Nakhid on Wednesday afternoon.

The group of about 80, some of whom had been there since morning, claimed they had not been paid for work they had done during his campaign including transport and working at polling stations.

Hunt and Nakhid could get a back door play thru the Senate though, but it's not the same as Min of Nat Sec that Hunt was earmarked for. Hunt and his team are playing a smart man role but the EBC blocking it, he wanted to query each ballot+poll card+ the binder at the same time which if ppl don't know has the potential to have him identify who persons voted for, it kind of ties in with the stories of persons being paid to vote for a certain candidate and the money disbursed not equating to the number of votes gained and said candidates being a tad miffed.

daz wah ah duz always say, indian people is a bunch ah nemakaram as panday said. is a wonder davent aint open he own party yet like windston and rumesh. indian people does have ah " ah go do for yuh" mentality dat if i cyah get try you go cyah get tru either and ah go do anyting to make sure yuh doh get tru. so kams wasnt fighting the pnm but she own indian people plus the pnm. if a new person take over the UNC who have no enemies they will win the next election but indian people like to make enemies. only person to take over the UNC is sean sobers. nobody else seem to have the decorum and integrity and have no political sugar daddy or mamoo in the UNC that pull strings to get them there.

on a next note, i finally hope chaguanas can get a good mayor and get rid of the pawn star that who mamoo get she d wuk as he sucessor and she to dotish to do the job. i hope pnm put somebody the and finally fix the problems in chaguanas.
