I wont be so sure nah. Part of Glenda's demise was that "fisherman" she helped. Big big contract to build houses

The PNM keeping everything a hush and forcing members to retract their opinions that they have shared with the public and pretending to have "made up" with the party even though they hold different points of view and are upset is an authocratic type party that is a dangerous prospect since they would tranfer that leadership style into government.
Then again the PNM was and is always friendly with the commies.Rovin wrote:unlike d yellow side pee nm ppl doh really air their dutty laundry out in public but even when they grumble lil bit in d end they continue to support their party no matter what ....

funny how you consider an organization wanting to put forth a united face and asking members to respect the decision of the screening committee and the processes of the party as being dictatorial but support the "rum done-friend done, if I cyah get meh way ah go mash it up" style of leadership. FYI the PNM has "an internal system that challenges the leadership" it's called it's national convention, Manning was challenged, Rowley was challenged, the challengers are still within the party one has even been nominated as a possible contender for a seat in the GE. Now the PNM is communist

. Btw that system within the UNC that you speak of is not the same system that had a UNC blogger run a smear campaign on a prominent member of the party when it came out that he had aspirations of leadership? Your spin game is weak

I admit, this one gave me a chuckle. Merv ain’t no scrub though, over 100 wickets in tests and ODIs each. But he was in the immediate aftermath of bowling legends so tough act to follow.

President of the Agricultural Society of Trinidad and Tobago, Dhano Sookoo has no plans of tendering her resignation. The call for her to give up the position came from the Aranguez Farmers Association, after it came to light that Sookoo had been screened to represent the People's National Movement as the party's candidate for Toco /Sangre. Alicia Boucher has more in this report.
After blank, Fuad says PNM may lose
After not being screened by the People’s National Movement (PNM), Fuad Abu Bakr now believes the ruling party runs the risk of losing the general election because of a disconnect to the grassroots.
So he will fight the election battle under his New National Vision (NNV) party.

At this point Bakr probably more believable than Rowley
pugboy wrote:if bakr have any evidence of taped convo it go make rowlee out bad
That makes the choice of seat that Mr Bakr would supposedly have filled an interesting one. Currently, it is being held by Marlene McDonald, whose position in the party has been in jeopardy following her arrest on charges of corruption. Since she has the support of her constituents, this would have been a calculated move to replace her with someone who would be accepted based on name recognition. That’s what happened to Randall Mitchell, who was pushed aside in favour of Brain Manning, the son of the late Patrick Manning. One can’t deny that the Bakr name holds some weight in certain “hot spot” communities.
