but in both parties if d leader is challenged , when d challenger loses he\she gets put on a back burner or is looked down in a kinda traitor way

like when rowdy vs manning , penny vs rowdy , moonilal & kristine vs kamla .... dise jes d way it is with both sides

The PNM keeping everything a hush and forcing members to retract their opinions that they have shared with the public and pretending to have "made up" with the party even though they hold different points of view and are upset is an authocratic type party that is a dangerous prospect since they would tranfer that leadership style into government.

Then again the PNM was and is always friendly with the commies.
Rovin wrote:unlike d yellow side pee nm ppl doh really air their dutty laundry out in public but even when they grumble lil bit in d end they continue to support their party no matter what ....

  funny how you consider an organization wanting to put forth a united face and asking members to respect the decision of the screening committee and the processes of the party as being dictatorial but support the "rum done-friend done, if I cyah get meh way ah go mash it up" style of leadership. FYI the PNM has "an internal system that challenges the leadership" it's called it's national convention, Manning was challenged, Rowley was challenged, the challengers are still within the party one has even been nominated as a possible contender for a seat in the GE. Now the PNM is communist    . Btw that system within the UNC that you speak of is not the same system that had a UNC blogger run a smear campaign on a prominent member of the party when it came out that he had aspirations of leadership? Your spin game is weak

So is yours, for you seem to have conveniently forgotten what happened to "challengers" like Penny. Who "challenged" JUHN Scarfy for his seat? Who challenged Impsy? Poor Le Hunte, the only man with a semblance of integrity, or maybe sour grapes, who knows, ketching his royal arse to get La Brea in spite of receiving favour from 20 out of 22 executive members' nod after 16 out of 19 party groups' nod, all because he and spiteful vindictive JUHN Scarfy toting. Then JUHN Scarfy has the gall to talk about "PNM Constitution?"

I admit, this one gave me a chuckle. Merv ain’t no scrub though, over 100 wickets in tests and ODIs each. But he was in the immediate aftermath of bowling legends so tough act to follow.

Yup good but never great, took wickets but was never accurate enough so always went for runs. Had all the natural attributes but generally underwhelming.

Anyways back to the thread

buh wait nuh ent this woman used to lash out at d pnm ?

President of the Agricultural Society of Trinidad and Tobago, Dhano Sookoo has no plans of tendering her resignation. The call for her to give up the position came from the Aranguez Farmers Association, after it came to light that Sookoo had been screened to represent the People's National Movement as the party's candidate for Toco /Sangre. Alicia Boucher has more in this report.

meanwhile ...

After blank, Fuad says PNM may lose

https://trinidadexpress.com/newsextra/a ... ium=social

After not being screened by the People’s National Movement (PNM), Fuad Abu Bakr now believes the ruling party runs the risk of losing the general election because of a disconnect to the grassroots.

So he will fight the election battle under his New National Vision (NNV) party.

so what was the PNM initial plan? To replace the pernicious and reprobate Marlene McDonald with Bakr? So he could now control the government contracts for that area? Wouldn't that have escalated gang wars even more? And then McDonald would end up taking down half the PNM with all the blackmail files she has on the top members. We have to assume this because Rowley keep putting her back there despite the transgressions.

See how the PNM does make sure they sacrifice the population just to keep their corrupt power and own interests?

That makes the choice of seat that Mr Bakr would supposedly have filled an interesting one. Currently, it is being held by Marlene McDonald, whose position in the party has been in jeopardy following her arrest on charges of corruption. Since she has the support of her constituents, this would have been a calculated move to replace her with someone who would be accepted based on name recognition. That’s what happened to Randall Mitchell, who was pushed aside in favour of Brain Manning, the son of the late Patrick Manning. One can’t deny that the Bakr name holds some weight in certain “hot spot” communities.

^ i watched most of the video... and he made some very valid points... it goes without saying PNM and UNC om s8 amd we need new leadership... yes we do... but i cant help but look at him as sour grapes... as all the points u made about corruption in PNM yet still u were well ready and willing to join them... your argument is a bit flawed in that respect... that said come this elections i might vote for him (if he admits he was wrong or apologizes in some manner for his misstep) or mikela's party... fed up of UNC and PNM
