Samsung tab 3 screen issues

I know it's ah old tablet but wanna know what this issue may be and if it's feasible to repair or just get an updated one and done with that :

Plus, if I touch the ends of the screen, it swipes to the next screen as though I'm swiping

Since we don't know much history of the issue, could be a loose/ damaged connector or software issue..... since both screen and digitizer has issues, I would lean more to the connector being the problem.
