For real depression there's a lot of research showing this works.
As for ashwaganda it does help me sleep and wake up feeling very energised, similar to ZMA.
But also OP the best anti depressant is exercise, especially running.

-How active are you?
-What's does your daily diet look like?
Everything else is mental and much harder to solve (but possible)
(BTW, try taking some magnesium suppliments)
ruffneck_12 wrote:Only problem I seeing there is the vegetarian/vegan diet there tbh
I tried it for 3 years and was HELLA depressed.
Now eat lots more red meat/eggs with fresh baked breads (ie, ones that spoil) and my moods/energy levels have never been higher.
So idk if you'd want to go that route.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ALSO, since you're vege, you may be feeding yourself more carbs than protein so your gut bacteria may be out of whack. The majority of seratonin comes from your gut. So Include some whole cream yogurts/kombucha/kefir
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Also Im a person who excessivly consumed "feel good superfoods" like chocolate/teas to help feel better, didn't work.
But only because tea/chocolate has excess stimulants which affect sleep patterns and ting. So try laying off that for a lil bit. Dosage makes the poison, even water can be toxic.
_-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ALSO ALSO ALSO, try to do more weight training than cardio. Deadlifting heavy spikes testosterone, which helps with mood regulation.
Cardio helps, but not when you over dweet. Balance my bredda.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Try the magnesium suppliments tho, not just a multivitamin that contains is.

Your mindset is another factor, but dais another post.

Soul Collector wrote:An old co worker of mine recommended a magnesium supplement when she learnt of my poor sleeping/eating patterns etc. I never took it on tbh and then one day she shows up with a bottle and a threat.
I took it, but never continued so I really can't speak to the effects. Seeing ruffneck repeat the point of taking a magnesium supplement on its own it reminded me of that time.

Probably because you either using the wrong type of herb, in the wrong amounts, or the wrong way, or a combination of all 3. As the man said, the dosage is the poison. Low dose tinctures work extremely well from what I have been told.
Another thing, bad sleep patterns and a diet lacking in key nutrients can wreak havoc on your body and mind. One trick to improve sleep, do your exercises in the evenings, and turn off all screens an hour before you go to bed.
Hope you gt

Amnesia haze is a heavy leaning sativa. Definitely not a good recommendation for sleeptimelapse wrote:Correct.Different terpenes have different effects, therefore different strains will have different effects.
If you need sleep, I would recommend lavender tea, or melatonin pills.
For cannabis, Amnesia Haze or Dos-si- dos88sins wrote:Rockram wrote:Recently tried "Ashwaghada" an ancient chineese/ Indian herbal supplement which I must say is very effective, has anyone tried any others with success, BTW staying away from THC/CBD which ARE effective but MAKE ME less functional/sleepy....
