down to earth? probably slitting wrists and making offering to satan, biting off bat heads to play guitar solos. listen to safe music like taylor swift.

Metal is one of the calmest music there is... much better than classical music

Phoenix bar in chaguanas opposite centre point mall still has a good crowd .
Haters gonna hate.
Rock music is still strong, people who don't like it are going to just repeat whatever they heard in church that week from a pastor who wants them to buy a gospel album he produced.

There's very little incentive for bands nowadays w.r.t venues, events and even crowd turn out. For some it's just easier to record a track and have it online as opposed to trying to play out.

@TheOwner PO... barely the tip of the iceberg. Checklist is definitely one of my favs

Been there, done that, was frontman in a band and all that. The truth is, rock fans too damn cheap to pay the bands.Everybody and their cousin wants to get in free. They not even supporting the establishments that hosting events, everybody has stuff in their trunk.Guess what, equipment bandroom time, recording etc costs a lot of money,so hard luck for allyuh, i am not a charity group.

Last 2 rock shows I went was a curfew show at the former Coconuts location featuring Upset the Order (good show), then Samaan Tree. The latter's audience majority was scenester boys and jailbetis. I love my rock and metal but slight tinnitus takes all the appeal out of going dem ting now.
