not sure I understand what you mean there

TF3 opening approximately a day from now.

Digicel IMAX not sure when they showing TF, it could be over 15/30 days from now at earliest. Are you going to wait soo long to see TF?

Even if you see TF in a regular cinema then watch it when IMAX opens you wont be "wowed" as much as initially seeing it in IMAX. Its more economical to choose another movie to watch in IMAX.

However I don't think any other movie is going to be as good as TF3 In IMAX.

Therefore waiting to see TF3 exclusively in IMAX=no sense.

Doesnt the film be a little different in imax?

for one, the experience would be times better than in a regular theatre.

is it only 1 imax screen which means only 1 movie at a time? bcuz HP7 lets say would be showing for maybe 2 wks then TF3 in August

and another thing worth noting
http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-movie-just-movie-31/transformers-dark-of-the-moon-is-in-3d-but-not-in-imax-3d-170958/

Transformers: Dark Of The Moon Is In 3D But Not In IMAX 3D
Nelson; who always maintains a good friendship with Michael Bay Fans, let us in on another tidbit from Transformers: Dark Of The Moon.

When asked about the IMAX 3D version of Transformers 3, he replied…
There will be a 3D reel but it's not in IMAX format (70mm). IIRC, they did not use Imax cameras this time around.”
“Last I heard, these Sony 3D camera rigs aren't 70mm.”

Nelson is referring to the Sony Pace 3D Camera. This is the same camera used by James Cameron for his movie “Avatar”. If you want to know more about the camera you can visit G4TV website and enjoy this documentary uploaded by them to YouTube, after the jump…

^^^That makes waiting to see it exclusively in IMAX even more unappealing but ill like to see it in 3d and then in IMAX though just to experience the difference.

Yuh understand.

Men waiting "hand and foot" for IMAX to open to "enjoy" TF yes. What if your circumstances change and you cant make it for IMAX?

Its not about "rushing" to see TF. Its about doing something while I can.

I forgot that tomorrow is guaranteed, never mind, carry on.

no one said that - you said "Waiting to see TF around the end of the July / August holidays makes no sense, everyone is going to watch it with in its first 2 weeks."

we just trying to understand what is the big problem if you see it after everyone else does.

Guys, from what I understand, those who wish to patronize the new IMAX theatre is in for a treat. The whole Movie Presentation dynamics is totally different to what MT or CC8 would dream of using. The screen is said to be the largest in the Caribbean and unlike retrofit cineplexes, 1WP has all what was needed to make this a true IMAX certified theatre from scratch.

A client of mine saw the technologies and the details even in the sitting area and all I can say is wow. I encourage everyone to do some research and perhaps check it out when it eventually opens soon. I know $75. is a lot but I plan to check it out just to experience it locally.
