TTFS Certification for Commercial Building

Postby riminagulio » February 15th, 2022, 3:28 pm

Does anyone know the process for getting Fire Services approval for a commercial building?

I heard of some folks who contacted TTFS who then did a visit and gave them a sketch of where smoke detectors, fire extinguishers etc. should be placed. They then used this info to get prices and install a fire detection system and extinguishers, then TTFS came back and gave them a certificate.

Does anyone know what this service is called? Tried checking the TTFS website and calling, but I can't seem to get through to anyone who knows what I'm talking about.

Give the closest station a call.

You will have to send a formal letter requesting such and pay 200ttd for the inspection.

They do a comprehensive assessment complete with building drawings.

Just take the formal report they send you after and fix everything they say.

Repeat the first paragraph so they can issue a building certificate.

The cert is valid for 2 years.
