Does anyone know how to properly dispose of used auto batteries e.g.:
1. Is there an official site for dumping of used auto batteries locally (environmentally friendly option).
2. Can they be resold (I have heard that some local companies purchase used batteries - Who are they and how can they be contacted?)
3. I know that some places like Lange give you an instant discount e.g. $30 for taking your used battery, but only if you purchase a new one from them.
Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.
