Postby jsr » January 13th, 2015, 7:34 pm

Hi

want to know what is the best way to transfer a vehicle to a person if the owner is abroad.

just want to make sure that the person who is buying the vehicle does not find himself in any trouble.

you might need to speak to a lawyer. most likely the owner will have to invest you, the seller, with power of attorney, giving you authorization to sell the vehicle on his behalf.

I don't think it matters if the owner is a male or a female, the procedure should be the same even if she is louder than most women

let the owner type a letter stating that the vehicle was sold etc etc and have a notary sign it. Have him pen a letter to the licensing authority as well...that's what I did when I was in that position

this is why the licence office needs to be closed down and all those corrupted officers sent home....you can get anything done there for small money and a person that going to do legit business have to ketch their ass to get tru
