HELP - Need Smart, Logical Tuners Advice as Always

Postby terry100 » January 7th, 2015, 1:41 pm

Tuners,

Happy New Year 2015, I have a Mazda BH with a B6 engine and I have been having some hard starting recently.

Changed plugs, plugs wire, Tall Boy electrician ruled out an electrical problem and my mechanic ruled out a mechanical issue.

The thing is (as Tallboy suggested), give the car a quick half a turn, wait for the pump to run and cut off, then it will start in one bounce. He said, the fuel pump pressure on the rail system is failing, the fuel pump PSI isn't holding or an injector leaking.

Mechanic said he released the hose on the fuel filter in from the car and it pushing real hard.

I got a neutral point from the Autoboss in Penal with a Diagnostic Check, I was hoping he would have hooked up the gauge on the fuel pump system and check the PSI but he didn't. Anyway he said that the distributor is bad based on the fact that he pulled one of the spark plug wire and not maybe based on the Diagnostic Test itself.

Any suggestions Tuners, or send me by someone who can shift through the system?

Thanks!
