Need car advice...

Thinking of buying a second hand 2010 Lancer Ex, locally bought with one owner. Looking for advice regarding things to look for in that model of car of that age. ie: does the transmission give trouble at that age etc. I'm looking for a reliable car to hold on to for the next 2 years. So I want to know if the Lancer can be trusted, provided good future maintenance etc.

Second hand so make sure it not hit ...do a search...look under the car for leaks .....change the radiator to a metal or aluminum one .........save a buck for repairs .....roads eh good even for trucks ........enjoy........all parts expensive whether is a Benz or 120y

I've got one of these and it's really reliable and comfortable. One thing to look out for is that people usually argue about using premium or super in the 1.5 as some have complained of knocking as well as a few other stuff when putting super so I guess you can just ask the current owner. Otherwise these cars are really nice

1.5 is premium, 2.0 is super as recommended by the manufacturer

Go into the mitsubushi forum and look for the cy lancer thread. All the info you want and more. That being said, car is very reliable. I use premium as recommended for the 1.5. Never tried super, hopefully never will.
