Help!!!!!!! Subaru Impreza Problem

Postby Mikhail » September 30th, 2013, 7:28 am

Good Day, like the topic says i recently bought a Local 2005 Subaru Impreza TS and started to develop a bucking problem - when i reach 60-80km/p it struggles to cross that but when it does the car lauches, however if i stop it doesn't cross 40km/p. The car was serviced by Neal & Massy from date of purchase till to date i even scanned the vehicle and it said nothing is wrong, i even changed out the catalyse convertor because they said it was clogged and still have the problem. At my wits end can someone please help me, or send me to someone who can.............................thanks in advance

check to see if you getting enough fuel to the injectors. Could be the fuel pump or filter. It could be plenty things you will just have to go through a process of elimination.

ok thanks for all the info, really paid off the problem was actually the spark plugs, but the hardest thing is that in july 2013 the car was fully serviced by Neal and Massy and it was claimed to have been changed and i was even billed for it. Decided to check it today and realized that the plugs looked like they were never even touched before........................

Yes, that's wat happens when u take it to the "firm", the rob u really firmly. You're better off not going there.

Nothing wrong with going to the firm once you have the know how to make sure you get what you're billed for. They actually give a good service once they no you don't take bs.

Yes but 90% of the people taking their vehicle to the "firm" don't know how to check the basic things, much less for the the complicated stuff.
Let's say for the case in question, spark plug change. If I am getting my vehicle serviced and they claim to have changed it, how am I to verify that it was done??? Check it myself???
We all know how difficult it is to change in a subaru so we take it that it was billed hence changed...otherwise what is the point in sending it there?
Might as well pay a piper to service the car!
:? :? :?
