help about audiocontrol chips

Am sure there's other ppl who will like to know this as well.ok i have an audiocontrol 6XS crossover an a pair of 18sounds 8" that frequencey range is 120 - 5.0 KHz an the chips i have on the 8" is a 250hz what i will like to know is what frequencey is the speaker getting is it 250hz an up or 250 an down or how does it work because i want to have my speakers playing at the ßëst frequence required .....

The original chips that come with the unit gives you:

Sub out 30Hz to 90Hz
Front lowpass 90-250Hz
Front Highpass 250-20,000hz
Rear Highpass 250-20,000Hz
