need help on bass speaker

i have a splx 15"hx speaker. it was coil over to dual 1.5 ohm. if am correct when i hock it up to a amp i will get 0.75 ohm. if i series the speaker i will get 3 ohm. am i correct? is there any way i can make sure its a dual 1.5 ohm? the amp i am using is power acoustic 3000w db. whats the best way to run the speaker??

if i was in your position i would of go with .75 ohms providing that i have a extra battery in my trunk.when a 1 ohm amp play with a speaker @ .75 ohms the amp uses more current.

will work fine,am running similar amp at 0.66ohms with a big battery in front, no worries

Make sure you have a good ALT! Else lights gonna be dimming when bass hits.
