Interchangeable parts on GLX 626 coupe?

Postby ddog » December 15th, 2012, 8:31 pm

Hey tuners I have had my 626 coupe parked down for some years now and looking to bring it back to life. It has got the FE carb engine with box. Engine was completely rebuilt and modded a bit consisting of a weber, port and polish and half race cam. I have some additional stuff that I never got around to installing - mikuni side-drafts with original mikuni manifold (bluebird). But now I am looking to upgrade to a fuel Injected engine and the suspension as well.

I would love to upgrade to a F2T or even a FE3 if I could find one but that is like looking for a needle in a hay stack. There is the FS but I don't know if that would be an easy fit. I am looking for an engine that could fit with minimal fabrication as possible.

I don't have a clue about what suspension I can use. I do have cronos shocks installed in the front but I don't know if the cronos hub would work though. I also have access to a full set of 5hole BH struts. These rotors seem to be huge, well at least bigger than my MX6. I haven't measured or attempted to see if these would work as yet.

So basically I am looking for some advice on what I can use to upgrade.

Heh ddog.... Now seeing this post, a buddy of mine bringing back a Nissan B11 Sunny and would be looking for a pair of Mikunis. What size are they and how can he contact you?
