My duties as DBs Foreign Minister

Postby 323_wagon_dude » October 17th, 2012, 4:44 am

I was in Russia last week and as part of my duties as foreign minister I decided to tally some vehicle stats for you guys...

These are not formal stats but from what I observed.

Most Common SUV Brand:
3rd: BMW (X5s mainly)
2nd: Nissan (Xtrails like B13s there)
1st: Toyota (New model landcruisers/Lexus LX extremely common)

Pickup trucks weren't as common as I expected. Here are my tally on the pickups i saw (which were all new models):

5th: Mazda (1)
4th: Ford (2)
3rd: Hilux (3)
2nd: Frontier/Navara (3)
1st: L200/Sportero (13)

BTW, if you think trinis drive bad... think again

I'm over in Jamaica right now and the brand new VW Amarok seems to be a REALLY REALLY popular pickup option now... From the police come down it seems like a lot of people are driving them around here..

Where I am here in Africa is Toyota Nation. IMV hilux galore, a few LN16*. Land Crusiers and Prados of all ages and trim levels. I have been meaning to take a photo of the carpark to post for a while now. Lol! Now and then you will see a L200...
