How do i connect my mp3 player to my family's car ?

its a 'Kia Sorento' if that helps...

Get an Auxiliary Out cable (3.5mm to 3.5mm) and plug it into the deck if it has that input.
If not you'll have to get a FM transmitter for it.

Aux or FM Transmitter.
Aux obviously has better quality tho

^^ what they said. I use an FM transmitter and get pretty good reception and audio tho. Just dont raise the volume on the ipod too high.

ipod to Injector adapter ? Or you want to connect it to the stereo system ?

Which year model sorento and is it the stock deck?

The newer model stock unit has an ipod jack in the center console near the hand brake.

Use a 3.5mm-3.5mm/3.5mm-RCA or if your deck has a USB port, use the Ipod USB cable.

My Pionner Came With a cable for that purpose it plugs to the back and you can use your ipod ,iphone on the unit
