DART engine blocks

Postby moe » September 21st, 2010, 8:29 pm

OK if you want to purchase a DART engine block
the choices available are
b18
b20
k20
why would you want a b18
as oppose to a b20 or k20 blocks
bearing in mind that the build would
use the head for each respective block
and all other parts will be aftermarket parts.

object : have a quality build

k20 : u going k-series?

B20 block taller than a B18 block

there are actually many different dart blocks

one the height of the factory b20 & ls b18

other height of the ITR, GSR

then you can get it with any bore from 81mm to .....

if u switchin from B16 to kseries -- just put in a K20 from a DC5 and call it a day

if u are not going for over 500whp ..safe your money

k20 engine + this and that to install + boost stuff + management + dart block = can run close to $100K easy

as for the B-series
dart specs
B18 (itr/gsr) are 212mm
B20 are 226mm
u will have to ask them whey they use those specs

You need to be more explicent on your question better, what do you want to do with the car

eg:
track only
street race
Rally
Oval track racing
Show Car
drift ( front whell drive) lol....

Get the drift.?????
Alot these motors from Dart can be for different build and purposes, however there will be one better than the other in different area's.....that's why i say expllain the question better.
