audi disappearing oil problem

Postby Halfbreed07 » May 1st, 2010, 11:10 pm

as funny as it sounds my oil level drops from high to low in a months time, without any visable signs of leaking ie spots on the drivway, the exhaust smoke is non-existant. no leaks visable from engine bay either
anyone had similar issues?

could be a faulty or clogged PCV valve or the various rubber lines connecting the PCV to the intake arm.

10W-30 is recommended for the 1.8T in T&T, you can use a 10W-40 for the most... do not use a 50 body.
