Motorsport in top 10 at FCB awards!!!

Congratulations are in order to Sheldon Bissessar and his PSTL team for finally making the breakthrough to gain a Top Ten placing in the FCB Awards tonight - another first for Motor Sport in T&T?

This has been no easy achievement for Sheldon, since only those with stellar International performances have any chance of winning the Sportsman or Sportswoman of the Year Award.

Once he keeps up his winning ways, as he already has started for 2010, then Motor Sport can very well see this being very possible.

Special compliments to 13 year-old Bridget Singh on her performances in Karting in 2009, and here we have the possibility of another Champion in the making once she can get the right opprotunities.

OK, let's not forget Ainsley Lochan from Rallying and his outstanding run over the years.

He can start to climb this steep ladder to the top ten (if only all them drivers stop flying) as early as the end of this month when he takes on some of the best in the Caribbean in RT10.

hey autosport, i wonder when someone in this wonderful country of ours will see the potential of our motorsport people, and im talking about dragracing. dont forget Ryan Garcia who started it all with the SKF lancer. now we have quite a few sub 10s cars right here and no dammn track!!!!!!!!!! what about all those 11, 12 and 13 second full bodied street cars and no dammn track!!!!!!!!!!! i wish we could pull it together and start racing again (just my thoughts) CONGRATS PTRT i will b waiting for the next record breaking time!!!!!!!!!!!
