I don't see either post as being of a commercial nature, whilst Duane's thread topic appears absolute the content belays a different concept

Theres a big difference between selling animals that were bred for sale, and someone just selling an animal or two that they can no longer take care of

From reading those threads, its pretty obvious the people are not commercial sellers.

and for the idiot who posted last in the manicou thread (sucking up in hopes for mod status maybe?), the original poster should pay $600 for powerseller status to sell a $200 manicou?

we regret to announce the passing of Soundwave
Friend to many, fiend to all
He will be remembered for his sound and his wave
We expect Ramsarans to close down soon
Family of the late Soundwave have denied reports that there will be a cremation, citing the difficulty with which to extinguish alcohol-fed flames

since Dual Star selling everything "cheapest" compared to every1 else, wonder if he have any powerseller status for a 450 boy. or a 400 self, since it might b d last one till next container come.

Seriously though. What's wrong with the threads u posted? It's not desperation, mankind just selling pets/livestock. You've seen this already in the daily classifieds as well, right?

more or less.. Id think it would be viewed unsanitary by the higher "classes" of society to have goats and manicous as pets..

But the goat seller dude never mentioned them as pets. And ppl keep rabbits and chickens and other food as pets all the time. Heck our dogs are someone else's food and WE keep 'em as pets. So why not a manicou? Give it a name, fatten it up and den buss de throat (same rule applies to women, just substitute the word "throat" for "draws").

Matter of fact I had a buddy in primary who came from a very wealthy family and decided that as a pet he didn't want any dog, cat, fish or anything except a goat (he lil different nuh..cool dude to this day, but back then he was just...different).
We named her Betsy. She kept our designated section of the backyard (the small goal field) in order. I can't make this stuff up.

Point is, just because u dunno 'bout it, doh mean u hadda cry it down.
Look how there are vacancies in the classifieds for experienced roti wrappers. I chuckle, but if that's someone's skill set, then power to them. Heck, I like me a well put together shrimp roti. *jots down a reminder to get shrimp roti*

^^ Im not "hating" so to say but its just more common in my experience to find "bushmen" with pets such as manicous and goats etc ( I myself currently having a duck, good ole faithful billy).

ah just saying you wont expect to find a resident from moka with a maniou as a pet, you wont EXPECT that..
