WTK : Checking tranny oil level in B16A

so i was doin a lil research online
an some sites saying to check it with the engine cold
and some sites saying to check it with the engine on an in park
ah next one saying to check it when the engine warm but off
i dont know which one to do
i know i should check the owner's manual
but i dont have it , i have one for the eg8 , not the eg9
anyone have the manual for any b16a engine and tranny ?

I normally check it in the morning before i start dunno if its the right thing though

This is the way i Check mine. Make sure the car is on a level surface. Start the engine. WITH HANDBRAKES UP, run the car through the gears, 1st to 2nd to d3 to d4 to reverse to park and back down. Do this about twice. Then leave the car in a gear (BE SURE YOUR HANDBRAKES ARE WORKING, IF NOT HAVE SOMEONE MASH THE BRAKES FOR YOU). Check the level while the car is in gear.
