hey guys
i am thinking about getting a swift sport, and i have a couple questions:
1. do you think the new package with the 2 years service, is worth the extra money?
2. anyone had any problems with theirs so far?
3. does it make sense to get the automatic over manual... bear in mind i work in POS and live south
4. how do you rate lifestyle's service? do thay do a good job on ur car?
thanks
Btw, the auto Sport is no faster than a manual 1.5 Swift... the economy focused gear ratios really sap the extra power, and its lack of a tiptronic feature really doesn't make them a worthwhile purchase IMO.
If you drive the SS, I am sure you will realise that it has a lot of low end torque over comparable engines.
Knight1, the brochure is for the euro market and covers all Swift models incl the 1.3 and 1.3 diesel.... and the 0-100 are in kms. 11.7secs isn't exactly that slow since most other 1.6 cars take in the region of 14 secs to hit 100... remember compared to the 90's, cars today are heavier (for more rigidity and safety), and power is slightly down for the sake of economy and emissions.
The brochure has the SS manual 0-100kms time of 8.9 secs, and top speed at 124mph (equal to 200km/h)
how is the gas consumption?
Having played up with it I haven't been able to get an average fuel consumption on it. I think in the user manual it said it just does instantaneous.
weyyyyy 520km, my ignis sport may only do 400km with conservative driving, and note the swift sport is worse
best I've gotten so far is 520km from $95 super which is around 35mpg
The *economy* is a lot greater as the 1.5 doesn't need premium tho
i did race an auto swift sport with a manual one and kept up just fine but perhaps that driver sucked at shifting.
