Check out your air flow sensor...try cleaning it using contact cleaner.

If tha don't work...run a diagnostic test.

The problem you're getting is not that bad...some lil ting need changing.

Do it yourself
Locate the ECU (under your dash in the center) and look for a small screw next to a LED (towards the back end).
Turn the ignition to the ON position (engine not running).
Turn the screw fully clockwise, wait 2 seconds, and then turn it fully counter-clockwise.

The LED will start to display the code by a series of long flashes, followed by a series of short flashes. Your check engine light on the instrument cluster will also flash in the same sequence. This sequence will repeat.

Resetting the ECU
Once the screw is turned fully clockwise and counter-clockwise again, the ECU will be reset.

ORRRRrrrrrrrrrrr

I'm not sure if it still works with the newer model RB's (noticed you said NEO) but on my A31 you simply take the terminals off the battery and you keep the brake pedal pressed for 10-20 mins (I stick a pira on the pressed brake pedal and push up the driver's seat to keep it pressed  ). Then you re-attach your battery and that's it.

Oh for the record, on RB's the main cause of hunting is

1) MAF needs cleaning/changing
2) Coilpacks are cracked up/damaged causing in-efficient spark (usually noticed by missing at certain parts in the rpm range).
3) Ignitor pack damaged (there aren't any on the NEO as far as I am aware)
4)The most problematic is the dirty AAC valve but I don't think I've heard much of this online happening to NEOs due to the fact that NEOs are the newer/last RB manuf. from '98.

might not work for NEO

if OBD scan is needed I am not sure if my system would work but if it does it would be $125 for a scan
