GA Gearbox question

Postby Omaritech2 » February 1st, 2009, 3:41 pm

Hey guys do you all know the best GA gearbox to use for acceleration. I want a decent box to put on my GA15. But i have been hearing that the newer B14 gear ratios suck 1997-1999. Does anyone know the code for the box i want best gearing.

the b14 gearbox are for economy and top speed
if you want quick acceleration stick with the b13 gearbox

personally i like the b14 gearbox cause i could hold second and third gears longer

Hey guys, this is the update. Got a Gearbox, came from a B13. Came with flywheel, pressure plate and a used clutch. When i first saw it said to myself the pressure plate looks rather small. When i check it has a small clutch. Now i am wondering guys if any of you guys have in this gearbox with this small clutch, how does it ( clutch) stand up to hooking up being that it is so small.

Yeah thanks bro, got the car up and running, traded that B13 gearbox for one from a 1st model B14 or AD Wagon. Gearing on those boxes are really good. No fall off. You can check the link below.
