WTK: headlamp bulb rating

off the top of anyone's head, can anyone tell me the bulb rating for the front headlamps of a 1998 lancer? want to buy a pair of whitelight or halogen bulbs. any help would be kool. thanx

rating or type
those in stock form, generally carry H4 type
as for rating, again from factory, the wattage was 60/55 and with bigger wattage bulbs, they burn the OE sockets

you can use 75 watt bulbs safely with the stock wiring...if you put 100Watt bulbs, you WILL burn out your wiring eventually. Use a headlight relay ($150-$200) and the 100Watt bulbs...and you'll be safe

Hoss whey u get dem to buy??? Right now one of my headlights blow and I need a new pair. What's the cost by the way?
