tried the "fermentation" cold press method for coconut oil....
easy but time consuming and really a hit or miss regarding the quantity of oil you get
that was the first time, and i got that jar almost full from 5 dried sea side coconuts

did it again this weekend using 7 pretty large nuts from inland and i might barely be able to get about 100mls

I cooked it straight into the bath with original vacpack bag, did it for two hours,
Maybe too long, was slightly overcooked.
Then salt and peppered it, patted it dry then blasted over coals.
Wanna try garlic butter poaching some fish then flash grilling similarly.

Actually is the camera flash whiten it so but yes i saffron down and it yellow and nice. Used both curry powder and saffron tso there was no floury flour taste. Came out damn good for a first time. Crust was as flaky as it can be without using shortening. Makin more this weeke and bake and shark friday.

you know typical trini mentality, recipe says 1/4 tsp, i say put a little extra...lol
tastes decent in sandwiches when melted though

if anyone wants to try, i have lots of citric acid and rennet since all you need is1/4 tsp/4 liters

https://www.amazon.com/Kitchen-Grinder- ... at+grinder

one of the best things i bought....obviously not for commercial use
I season and marinade the chunks before grinding so after its minced, i dont have to mix it much if i had plain minced meat......just fold in the eggs and grill
results in a light and succulent patty
