GTiR 14, according to A-1 Superior Tech's last post here, can you confirm that by chance...or say how the body of the 4WD B14 is different from that of the FWD B14?

damn, was afraid you would say that. the body is one thing to modify, but the chassis i won't touch. i was actually thinking about a 4wd conversion for a Lucino. Thanks swift gti funatic.

naa it doesn't make sense to convert a fwd to 4wd... i mean it can be done with enough chopping and welding and $$$ ...but it's not feasible as it underminds the integrity of the chassis itself...

yup, and when you get down to changes in the microstructure from fabricating (something a lot of people don't know about or neglect), safety is severely compromised :!:

so i guess i'll keep on dreaming about this 4wd nissan for now :(

I'm scrapping mine down to change out parts so I'll take some pics and post them.
Some notable differences are:
1. there is no subframe in front of the 4WD B14. The steering rack is bolted directly to the firewall.
2. the cradles are bolted on to the body of the car, B12 style.
3. also missing is a cross member. Instead the transmission had 3 mounts holding it in place.
4. the rear suspension is independent and the shocks are interchangable with B13 & pulsar.
I'll post some pics soon.

chassis is bent, cradle bad or ball joints.

Concerning fwd to 4wd or even fwd to rwd, my mechanic does these things with professionalism. He is quite far for north men such as me but alot of men from my side going the distance for the quality of work and price.

If you willing to go Pt. Fortin, you can have your car done to whatever you want. So i don't need to look for any 4wd vehicles again or rwd, just choose whatever i want cheap, run down car, and let him do whatever.

He does A/C, Electricial, Chassis Work, Repairs, Crash Cars, Engine Work, Tuning, Modifying, Mechanical, Problem Solving on Engine Issues, GDi Engines, AWD Cars, FWD, RWD, Traction Control Design etc. Anything.
