bl is supposed to be something with the voice coil conductor length ( gap's flux density related) IMO...i eh fully kno..

lemme google that

Sd is simply something like the "effective" surface area of the sub...which is basically the area of the subs cone and a small portion of the suspension..( someone correct me if i`m wrong)

BL
(measured in Tesla meters) The product of a speaker driver’s gap flux density and the length of the voice coil conductor in the gap.

the preamp overed the xover needs since u goin dj style:

i agree with this choice 4 a beach\gallery system - only changes r a more powerful monoblock of use d lower atomic (apocalypse)
i would add 2 more bullets OR use 1 pair of coustic super bullets (8ohms) & use a good xover since imo d normal parametric pre doh do a good enough job of separating d bass\lower freqs from d mids

also since u like playing by d beach for a lil while do add a 2nd batt & u orn ....... 8-)

eminence betas can be crossed at lower frequencies at the expense of power handling and also depends on a suitable enclosure, It can be used for bass ~ 75 rms, mid bass ~
120 rms, mids ~250 rms. This is what I read from the specifications

forgetting this is my 1st system..
one mistake i don't want to make is to start with the extreme and not know WHY it's better than others. I know why not to go BOSS, PYRAMID & others. (heard enough pirates) They sound like (censored)
