and thats water that running off an empty lot of land there in that driveway eh, that drain is usually enough to take the water away and the one on the next side.
3/4 that lot flat, then is downhill, rapid downhill and that amount of water still run off eh

CEPEP clean that drain so.

all water gone already btw.

k, so I just got a call from my media buddy, asking about that huge evil doomy looking thing at 45W, so I figure some of y'all might be wondering as well, here goes.

While there is a 90% change of it developing into a tropical cyclone in the next 24hrs, it's not "headed towards us", but it IS being looked at with interest.
If it gets serious, you'll definitely know well in advance...and from official sources.

http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/gtwo_atl.shtml

Image
A WELL-DEFINED AREA OF LOW PRESSURE IS LOCATED ABOUT 800 MILES EAST
OF THE LESSER ANTILLES. WHILE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS REMAIN
SOMEWHAT LIMITED NEAR THE CENTER...ANY SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN
THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY COULD RESULT IN THE FORMATION OF A TROPICAL
DEPRESSION TONIGHT OR TOMORROW. THIS SYSTEM HAS A HIGH CHANCE...90
PERCENT...OF BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS
AS IT MOVES WESTWARD AT 20 TO 25 MPH. TROPICAL STORM WATCHES COULD
SOON BE REQUIRED FOR THE LEEWARD ISLANDS...AND INTERESTS IN THOSE
ISLANDS SHOULD MONITOR THE PROGRESS OF THIS DISTURBANCE.

http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/text/MIATWDAT.shtml

TROPICAL WAVE EXTENDS FROM NEAR 22N45W TO A WELL-DEFINED 1009 MB
SURFACE LOW AT 16N47W. THE SYSTEM IS MOVING WEST AT 20 KT. IT
CONTINUES TO ALIGN WELL WITH A LARGE SURGE OF DEEP LAYER
MOISTURE WITH MAXIMUM VALUES NEAR THE LOW CENTER. THERE
CONTINUES TO BE DRY AIR AND DUST WRAPPING AROUND THE NORTHERN
EXTENT OF THE WAVE...WHICH MAY EXPLAIN THE LACK OF DEEP
CONVECTION NEAR THE CENTER. SCATTERED MODERATE/ISOLATED STRONG
CONVECTION IS MAINLY S OF THE LOW CENTER FROM 11N-14N BETWEEN
43W-49W...AND FROM 14N-16N BETWEEN 48W-51W. IF CONVECTION
INCREASES NEAR THE LOW CENTER...THEN A TROPICAL DEPRESSION COULD
FORM.

 maybe I'm desensitized because I've seen and studied much worse than it

Remember, when dealing with tropical cyclones, size doesn't matter, barometric pressure does.

I am a little more concerned about 96L...

I mean considering 94L may bring some serious water: looks like my day in Trini Wednesday gonna be a really wet one...

The one that looks like it wants to develop further south is the one I'm keeping my eye on right about now.

If we get a serious hurricane we in serious trouble . 4 meters of rain fall did so much damage imagine what 8-10 meters go do.

I have a good mind to ban some of you. People latch onto the wrong words so be careful what you say.

Tropical Depression #9 poses NO DIRECT THREAT TO TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO.

I strongly urge you to punch scaremongers in the throat.

Wow... 96L just got a heck of a boost in cyclonic turn from the outflow bands of the preceeding depression...

I'm not liking that one bit... has a stronger turn than the depression itself.
