Well he does in fact have a farm.....just because he's prime minister doesn't mean he can't access the perks of being a trini

if he cyar gt with that, the next best thing is to move people to short-term contract and go around the service commissions. already happening and done. contract positions put the labor movement to irrelevance.

labor historically was the only successful opposition to the pnm. keith just trying to put that coffin 6 feet under

The history of the labour movement in Trinidad is what drove the rich political landscape in the past until the UNC was eventually formed with Panday. Seems like we are going to go full circle once the Conservatives decide to remove certain labour protections with this announcement.

"rich political landscape"

Not disagreeing, except that with beneficial socialism to check runaway capitalism comes with it the risk of some, well, commies.

Look who had a past, btw--> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communist ... and_Tobago

As an aside, I always cringe inside when I see some Unions address their members as "Comrades," in their bulletins ..

Communism is a tried and failed theory. It has failed in every single place where it was ever implemented, even China. In communism, the lie is more important that any and everything else, even the people, even millions of them dead and in concentration camps just for the lie to endure.

Are you showing support for commies?

Pt II of the Foster Cummings Chronicles.

Funny how on the socials the people who were so vocal a few weeks ago on Ish, Steve and the Piarco issue all quiet now. Corruption really is acceptable to Trinis once the people who doing it in their party.

There is a lot to digest in the article but what really stands out -
There is also evidence that a cheque dated December 3, 2020, was made payable to VCU from HDC in the sum of $369,000 for services done by Pical, and according to the source of funds declaration, $186,866.30 was paid to the loan facility while the difference of $182,133.40 was placed in Cummings’ personal share account, contrary to what he had told the Express.

https://trinidadexpress.com/news/local/ ... user-share

By December 2020 Cummings was already a Govnt Minister ah.

VCU is like a group of people using the funds for personal racket. Really big endless racket going on and gone on in there from the highest come down. Endless loan rackets where they will lend you a 10 million on a fake deed and you hadda hit them back a million cash and doh ever pay d loan

I less concerned about VCU than the current Cabinet Minister who possibly in violation of several integrity in public life laws (and also AML laws) whilst having a hand in the country's treasury.
