Guaya is different every time. Sometimes you only get catfish, sometimes its zelwan, power, cavali, ray's, snapper, grouper, pag.. there is a nice reef in the middle of the bay that holds a variety of decent fish. The river on the far end away from galeota point has some pillars (green heart) sunken 50 - 100 ft offshore from the mouth. Decent fish also hang around there(tarpon, baracuda, grouper, pag, snapper, grunt etc etc) year's ago inside the river fishing from the bridge an uncle caught a 60+ lb Tarpon but we're talking 80's.

Bait : Shrimp, Bonito, Mullet, sea cockroach all have been proven to hold on this side.

I'll be heading down for a weekend sometime this month, bumpie hit me a pm when your heading down that side. (could always use someone to paddle out my long lines!)

Don't see much people fishing there these days apart from fishermen in pirogues early mornings. Instead of kayaking you could just walk to there. Have a couple other spots you'd have access to if you walk too.

30mins if so long. Its from wasa right by anchorage there is a barrier on the hill. Parking is relatively safe cause its in front the coast guard base. But once you take the trail and follow it you come across a couple spots worth fishing at.
