No I don't. I also form my opinions by myself and not from social media comments by fringe internet wannabes or rumshop talk. Personally I think kangaloo is a poor choice because she is very obviously politically tainted. Rowley chose her just because he can rub it in Sushilla's face. Israel Khan is a poor candidate as well since he is basically a male Kamla. It's instructive that neither side could find someone from academica or the judiciary, just goes to show nobody of substance wants to be associated with the toxic environment created by the PNM and unc.paid_influencer wrote:wing what do you think of the gospel of the pnm are you a true believer like her excellency

Then what is the solution?wing wrote:No I don't. I also form my opinions by myself and not from social media comments by fringe internet wannabes or rumshop talk. Since the alternative is so unpopular, most people will rather continue with the status quo, election gimmicks continue to sway many, the real fight is to flip the marginals. Getting massive votes in chaguans and penal/Debe/siparia will not win any elections as it's presently constituted. It is instructive that from as early as 2012, Faris was already doing walkabouts in Sando west where I reside. He did the work and it paid off. I have never seen any opposition figure in my area of Sando west except during election campaigns.Kickstart wrote:Then what is the solution?wing wrote:No I don't. You still did not answer the question as to what the solution is for a president. You said you are neutral but goes on to say Penal, debe ect will never change but no mention of the east west corridor as the samewing wrote:Since the alternative is so unpopular, most people will rather continue with the status quo, election gimmicks continue to sway many, the real fight is to flip the marginals. The government nominee will always be elected. Unless we have constitutional reform which no government has pursued, then nothing will change. As for gospel, as a non Christian I cannot relate.Kickstart wrote:You still did not answer the question as to what the solution is for a president. Constitutional reform is a myth or legend, it will NEVER happen. The more things change the more they remain the same. This is why things like the privy council will always be our Supreme Court the government and opposition will never agree.wing wrote:The government nominee will always be elected. Does protesting do anything in this country?

So if the three ballots were UNC,simple maths would indicate that all the so called "independent" senators voted for her as well....interesting.K74T wrote:President-Elect: Christine Kangaloo has been elected the Seventh President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago by the Electoral College. Today a Port of Spain school reached out to me in desperation, they needed funds to clear their expenses for the school steel band that had made it to the finals but had no sponsor. The PEP offered to pick up the tab in exchange for our logo being put on the jerseys and the band as sponsor. The Ministry of Education blocked them from having PEP logo placed on the band. The same Ministry that CANNOT help them is blocking them from being helped because PEP would make PNM look bad in Port of Spain. If they don’t get a sponsor by tomorrow PEP will consider picking up the tab anyway and the PNM could go to hell.
