But you as an officer instruct a drunk driver to operate his car?rspann wrote:I watching it since yesterday. I can confirm everything I said. You can actually see the flash of the taser when it was fired. The officer brakes and stumbled while trying to avoid the taser hitting him. In the beginning until Brooks started misbehaving the interaction between them was cordial.

Why chase a guy when you have his car and details?
You shoot a guy for this?

Once again, silence from BLM about burning down a business that had nothing whatsoever to do with this situation.

No he was shot because he resisted arrest by fighting back, grabbing the taser..firing the taser, .which arguably shows quite a bit of intent. If he tased the cop....he very well could have grabbed the gun.
In this environment he escalated..and crossed a line.
It’s state of mind at the moment...not hindsight Armchair quarterbacking

Go read my post on the last page and see where I said he should not be shot. I'm just stating the facts , which you left out , that escalated the whole situation.
Officer was eager for an arrest.rspann wrote:If he had let the officers put on the handcuffs and went into the car to be taken to the station to be charged , what would have been the situation today ? Because up to then everything was going smooth. Zoomrader , you defending PNM behaviour?
So all dem injun sleeping in their cars under their house should get lock up right?rspann wrote:Once you behind the wheel you could be charged , you are in control of the vehicle. He dropped asleep in the line and they called 911 . He wasnt in the parking lot sleeping .
Spann , officers will intimidate you to fight back so that they can trump up extra charges on you.rspann wrote:Nah , it was a routine arrest and Brooks showed no signs of violence . Everything was going good until he started fighting . By that time everything went South real fast .

Think about it DUI in a parking lot?
You might aswell be drunk in your car under your house.
Parking lot it private, rspann wrote:Under they house is not the public area where they could kill your family with they arsehole irresponsible behaviour. Brooks could have gone back on the road and killed multiple persons . Two things I don't support is drunk driving and speeding . If you crash into a pole and go home by yourself is okay , but when you want to carry me or my children with you ,is a different story.
You don't ever trust US & UK cops, rspann wrote:zoom rader wrote:Spann , officers will intimidate you to fight back so that they can trump up extra charges on you.rspann wrote:Nah , it was a routine arrest and Brooks showed no signs of violence .
