what you building that out of ?
I see some of them hydroponic ppl use the pvc board to make the boxes, but very expensive
others use the ibc containers and cut them to get the top and bottom as boxes

So far every thing is experimental, will look at the "A' frame in a few months time. Went with the most conventional system first, will also be looking be looking at doing the PVC board system as well. The barrel was set up this week. Every thing there is drip to drain.

i was building an A frame hydroponic system about 6 years ago

i had reach like 90% of the way, chemicals and everything buy
3 inch pipes screwed up on the metal A frame. all the holes cut out and netpots everything buy
i import grow grips, have proper hydroponic and aeroponic specific timers

it was just to dig a hole in the ground and put the nutrient reservoir

then some thing big or the other sidetrack me the day i was going to finish it and it just there watching me everyday


i will post a pic of it tomorrow lol

every week i say i will spend a 4-5 hours and finish it and never get the start

would have been nice to have though, could get some fresh greens every week constantly

I am using Cocopeat. For the lettuce and peppers, I using masterblend, calcium Nitrate and magnesium Sulphate.

For the one in the barrels, that only set up this week, i using a cheap 20-20-20 soluble mix for the agro shop. That system is to run household seasons and herbs, still a work in progress.

I does sell lettuce and peppers from my system, it will help with the consumables. System only set up roughly 2mts ago.

Hope the pics that i post is an incentive for you to complete your system.

I actually have everything needed for a large scale hydroponic system. 2 inch Styrofoam for float rafts. A massive roll of pond liner I imported from China years ago. Pumps. Air stones. Drip emitters. Grow grips. Timers. IBC containers.

Everything except the will to do it lol

when i was looking at it 7-8 years ago only one of those places in industrial estate was selling stuff

You getting now, it is expensive, about 375 for master blend and 150 to 200 for the normal agro shop ones. The nutrient concentration is the difference between the two.

I got a piece of firestone a few years back and built a Koi pond with it.

I now setting up mine, I following the recommendation of them ganja ppl and doing a rinse then calmag soak of the coco peat.

The claim is that unbuffered cocopeat will absorb a lot of the calcium and magnesium for awhile if this is not done.

Or extractor cleaning is more efficinent?

Carry it outside, spray thoroughly with your carpet cleaning chemical, scrub thoroughly, give a few mins for chemicals to do it's work, then pressure wash, and squeegee/extract/drain out remaing water and put to dry.

Repeat the chemical and scrubbing if it's an older mat or if it's heavily stained
