This honestly feels like rainy season like when I was a child and was only Dave Parasram on the nightly news.
Basically a set of drizzles, a big bashaw that lasts less than 10 mins, and lots of wind.

Big wet high wind bashaw just happened in Piarco for all of 5 minutes. Back to overcast with a slight drizzle.

This wind again, I sure it's rel trees gone down again. TTEC was working hard last week though, their crews doing good work. Had a small tree near me that fell and I called them. Next morning the crew come and everybody put a hand, even the foreman. Within 1/2 hour the road clean. Unlike say a WASA crew.

Having witnessed TTEC crews in operation I can attest to their efficiency with everybody pulling their hand.

Swing north last minute, tobago might get some rain, that's about it

Isn't our geographical location to the south american continent preventing us from getting any major storms or hurricanes as they tend to weaken tremendously once it's close to land especially such a huge land mass as the continent? At worse we always get the outer bands of these things which is for the most part not as intense.

Was looking up weather for Tuesday, yesterday, for an unrelated thing and noticed the forecast showed a helluva lot of rain for that day about 2/3 PM. Since then it shifted that timeframe for 8/9AM but still.

I guess this is the reason why.

While this may have some impact I think it’s more the Coriolis force which dictates the direction of rotating masses. Due to how close we are to the equator once they develop they veer away
