It was 24 US. But the swift has a some weird protocol. I hooked it up to a cheap scan tool and it never picked up the car. My friend's expensive scan tool worked though.

You need to contact Dell and let them know where the laptop is now, and pay for more warranty.
Or have a dealer register it. At a cost of course.

Or have a dealer register it. At a cost of course.

would they register it if it already has a problem- like hd crash or some other part died and then have that part replaced under the warranty?
