It might be the drive spinning up.
Haven't actually listened closely to mine, but some hard drives make a sound when the heads move as well

its a usual when its reading a disc


make sure disc is clean

correct, it's the mw2 of racing games, that's why it'll sell, it's easy to pick up and just start playing, learning curve is minimal, was trying out the demo earlier with tr1ad, the big sell for this one is the online portion, mindless fun, but fun nonetheless to some...

Thats because MW2 was marketed like crack on 21 jump street... The Original COD 4 will always be the better game. MW2 fell flat imho.
