^ Actually both clubs may very well continue putting on the events and there will ALWAYS be the bickering of who has the best events like what is currently going on above with the cussing and ranting by twingayted42r because each Drag Promoter wants to have the most participation and spectators .. obviously when it does not work out for one of the Promoter, its the spectators, promoters and racers who will eventually suffer the brunt of it like what has happened over this weekend and no one can really argue the frustration by twingayted42r

The sad thing about it though is that, he/she has laughed at the sponsorship acquired by NARA for this event by quoting my previous message and wrote an entire statement about it bashing NARA for a poor event. I do agree that its unfortunate what has happened but, for want of a better statement, Drag Racing in Trinidad is a hobby and not a job or big money making business like what takes place abroad and therefore the small or big sponsorships acquired by any Promoter should be supported by all and sundry because they read the forums and knew that NARA events are not as great as TTUNDRA yet they still agreed to support and had intention of supporting others .. They were very happy with the advertisement they got even though it was a small event ... No one said that the Sponsors wouldn't support other clubs but with this sort of forum bashing what do you think will happen now ? How do you think other "intended sponsors" will feel when they read these things ? ..

So folks, just bear that in mind when you chatting on the Forums as your statements could very well be taken as a spokes person for the club by an "intended sponsor" and hence cause the club to lose a potential sponsor .. Yes its your hard earn money spent to spectate at the event and you may have some valid points and very frustrated but just like you, I attended the NARA event and I will be attending TTUNDRA event this weekend ....

didn't attend the event due to the weather, but i agree fully with you maniac and microtech 7.
i'm not in the mix of what's going on behind the curtain but clearly this looks like a 'racer affiliation' issue, designed wholely and solely to put the next guy out of business.....i can see now why NARA chose to solicit the support of the old school racers...

I was liming with Rug Doctor and Rug Rat on saturday evening and i knew both cars weren't even remotely ready for the event but chose not to post it here.
I hope both promotion companies continues to host events and i vow to support then next time around especially NARA because this sport does not need one promotion company as the monopoly holder...entry fees can be kept in check, service delivery to the spectators and racers will be priority once the promoters know that there is an alternative option to their event... With constructive criticism NARA will improve its events and make for a good alternative option to the other promotion's events...who knows, they may even have a best of both promotions shoot out someday....
Both promotions can exist together and this should be to the betterment of both the racers and spectators.

I just want to say, people in Trinidad need to stop pointing fingers and try to make the best with the two teams they have to support this sport. Also TTundra needs to understand that the past is the past drop it and move on, try to realize that you guy can come together and make the events a nice event in Trinidad. Plus this was held back by several current reasons , 1. People not showing up to briefing for knowing what to expect on race day, 2. There was rain playing a big roll. 3 drivers need to know when you being called out to run Ur cars u should pay attention and go run. Not sit back in tents and bs....u pay to race do take advantage of it.... NAR puts in a lot of hard work but they can't do it all u have to understand that. TTUNDRA must also try to let the pass go and stop bad talking NARA cause I think they ifo a great job and trying to hold the sport up in Trinidad...just as much as you guys do....
