Jon

Check sureshot "IRONMAN" james for diff lockers

He had some good prices on diff lockers

He does install and offers warranty

You may want to consider a warranty given the $$$ that they cost

One steap at a time. Keys in hand!!! I will be home monday and the hunt will be on. I always liked the older models (PAJ-PAM). And knowing that they will be alot less than 180k it would be better for me cause i po as a church mouse.

There is one in Mayaro that has not moved for quite some time (or at least it parks exactly the same way everytime i see it) Gonna check that one first. Will keep you guys posted on the hunt!!!

not to burst your bubble

but a lot of vehicles that just parked up like that often NOT for sale

owner has it withering away in teh elements, but just not selling for whatever reason

but still ask, you may have a turn of better fate

if\when you in south\central holla, I may want to tag along if you don't mind

check your PM for my number

willing to link up and check a few spots that I know with some options

That's very true venum, a few years back I was looking around for a used Defender in good condition but was unsucessful... could not afford a new one because of the price

Some of the farmers in my area have Defenders parked up in their yards, all of which are in some state of disrepair. But they refuse to part with them. I have a cousin in Trincity running a blue 110 since 1980 but it seems like it will never die 8-)

I just checked them online and the PBA is actually a newer vehicle... tell tale sign is the lack of spare tyre on the bonnet, like the maroon one. This change was done around 1998 for enhanced crash safety

Very much like Suzuki Jimnys, I suspect the PBA is a later foreign model, and its chassis swapped out with a local to make legit. This was common around 2004 when the police auctioned off scores of damaged and scrapped Defenders and Discos. The guy on orangefield road bought a lot of them

As for the maroon, if its a legit local model bought thru the dealership, it means it was old-new stock, hence its TBK reg (2001), altho being a pre-1998 model.... OR it was imported by a returning citizen or something

Anyone know of any mechanic/garage that does speciality LR work

no necessarily LR only, but has a lot of experience in LR's

Engine and suspension

HOLY MOTHER OF MATTRACKS

Those tracks are ~ US$25k

The things i would trade for that . . .

The new interior is a lot mor luxurious than the old models

Janfar the series u looking at doesn't have transfer lever like the modern 4x4's or the pics above

They have the 2 levers by drivers seat

Jon_One them pics, them pics . . .
