Residents of Westvale Park, Holder Drive and La Horquetta Valley Road are marooned due to a collapsed bridge. Also, flash flooding in Glencoe/Carenage has destroyed parts of the roadway, with asphalt being eroded. Residents in these and other affected areas are now being asked to find safer accommodation. The ODPM meanwhile is reminding that today's inclement weather is NOT the result of any storm or related activity

last time I remember money doesnt prevent it from raining.

In fact if anything the flooding and landslides could be a result of too many large buildings on hillsides and removing natural catchments etc.
