Boy, it feel its still hard to call
the next 3 teams all have a game changers on their team( providing narine comes back for Amazon)...where the team is heavily dependent on them.......and once those individuals have a good game they will win...if those individuals fail. they will most likely loss
Smith/Polly
Gayle/Russell
Narine/Santokie/Simmons

Question #1:

Does anyone know who owns the various CPL teams?

Question #2:

If a batsman takes off for a run, is purposefully tripped (in full view of the umpire)
by the bowler and is then run-out, is there a way he can be given not-out?
Or will he be given out and then be penalised after the match?

i think there is provisions for that and its referred to as an obstruction and he would not be given out

so lets say the ball is hit on the on side, bowler's follow through is also to the on side but suddenly moves to the off side for no reason and bumps into the batsman causing him to be run out...upon review he wont be out

as for who owns the teams, im guessing its multiple companies within the island that sponsor the teams

Another thing is if the batsman cuts across the path of the bowler (who has the ball ready for a stump out at the bowling end), this happened during the Red Steel/Guyana match at home.

imo the umpiring in this tournament was not 100%...I remember when Russel made a save and stopped six runs the friggin 3rd umpire called it as 6...it was the players and mgmt from both sides who had to appeal the decision..

Red Steel ain't winning this tournament. Lacking another spin option. Pretty brainless cricket vs Tridents there. Hope Zouks pull of a win today...think KP supposed to play.

Beside the fact that was probably red steel let tridents make that much runs, when was time to chase they were too rushed and didn't settle at all. I got a glimpse of hope with pooran but that was short lived.

im not sure why they didnt bowl out benn in that game?
he only had 2 overs and got 12 runs

and whats the point playing him as a specialist bowler if he not bowling his quota
