How he get inside your car to do that?
acesinghit wrote:it have idiots out there who bought local new nissans and they feeding their cars garbage parts from the bamboo. You would be surprised to find out how much people who actually purchased brand new nissans within recent years who carry their cars back to NM to service (customer retention for service is low). When bamboo mentality people can afford a new car, its usually a "high resale value" unit which eventually will get service and parts from you guessed it....the bamboo!
What about the Skoda Octavia owner? Parts you say? It services in the Company and if the part is too much he can simply buy it online and ship to skybox. That is what I did with the Jetta when a taxi man cleared away my l/s rear view mirror.
Do not support the local racket. Buy new, buy non Japanese cars!

Why is it that people come to a forum for advice when they could just buy the car since they're getting 5 years free service and have "nothing to worry about"?

x2
Can't comment on resale value or personal opinion, but there have been many reviews from recognised automotive sources stating that the Focus has a great chassis (handles well), and has also bested many other cars in comparison tests.trini mk5 wrote:alan1991 wrote:does anybody know anything about the new focus? thinking of buying one new soon, ansa has a package with 5 years free service and warranty including parts and 5 years free full comp insurance. all inclusive @ $209000. does anybody have any expierience with this car?
It will suffer the fate of the 4(?) other generations of ford focuses in trinidad. Nice cars, but parts and maintenance is a killer. Dont worry though, when you buy it for 209k, 2-3years from now youll prolly get like 90k for it.

dunno if u heard of this thing called the internet
but its like this series of tubes where u can get almost anything you want

That's the point the man making. You should be able to get parts at the dealership. Plugs, sensors, filters, etc.

I can say from my experience that over one yr later massy has not disappointed wrt service and total cost of ownership. Average service fee is 700 every 5k. Last service was in Jan. Only did 3k ssince so sometime in Sept Oct i will service again

$700 for 5k service? VW not that bad then I does pay about $1100 for 8k service (5000 miles).
Thats 14 cents a Km vs 13.75 cent a Km
What car you have nissan, hyundai, subaru? Seems it cheaper for oil change with a VW than the Japanese/Korean equivalent!

dogichi wrote:Unless they want to hear from my lawyers....I won't be getting a runaround. My warranty is a legal agreement between the car company and myself. I do my services and my vehicle will provide me with hassle free driving for the stipulated period, that's the agreement. I don't play...and I usually let my sales and service reps know this before I buy anything. I talk once and if nothing is done, I document it, then take it to my lawyer. Within 24hrs I usually get the required remedy for the problem.
