Skid. Please stick to editing your original post when adding additional info in such a short space of time rather than creating so many posts. Thanks.

I usually pay my gd bill yearly since their billing system sucks.
Tv quality wise they are on par with flow digital service.
It is cheaper and offers extras like zee cinema and al jazeera. Some times there is a few stuttering channels like msnbc and CNN in the day.
I did a review of it in the past.

I see TSTT launch Blink Entertainment Wireless using the same technology as Greendot (DVB-T).

Interesting to see if Greendot can survive.

My year is up and first of all. The price raise again (WTF I know right?!) for the year and since I wasn't there to renew in time, they want to bill me for the month I didn't sign the yearly contract with them. I'm not feeling quite willing to rake out 2000$+ for this though. If only zeetv was streaming online.
What you guys doing?

^ flow has zeetv as well as directv i believe....now if you mean b4u movies/zee cinema....i can assure you that you are not missing out much because most of those movies were old crappy ones plus they didn't always come with subs....i switched from GD (had it for 2 years) over a year ago and the only thing i miss is their MTV channel because of the music videos whereas flow carries the reality crap....

gave it up their service really stinks...

I told them to cease service(numerous calls & e-mails),kept getting bills because their scheduling didnt come to pick up equipment..they said I was on the annual service and the automatically converted it to monthly.. on their own

They do not return calls and worse attitude I have ever seen....

Still waiting on written confirmation from them that service ended and no bills to be done...smh...services in TnT is the worse

Same issue. Well sort of. That I'm getting. They telling me it switch automatically and how I owe them 202$. That was not in my contract I signed :|

I seriously considering cutting cable 100% and just streaming stuff.

All the good news stations have live streams and I seeing zeetv shows

M_2NR ---- i have the basic package (you can view missed episodes of the indian soaps on zeetv's website as well---linked to youtube---but they don't come with eng subs if you need them)

MYVEC ---- i had no probs with their tv at the time really except that they didn't have syfy & gsn....my main problem was their internet which drove me to the heights of anger/frustration....so as soon as flow was in my area i switched....

Marct ---- if it's one thing i learnt from my interactions with GD is phone calls are useless, so make sure you support every call you make with an email and ensure you get written confirmation as well....for over a month my disconnection day was confirmed....and on the day it was supposed to be disconnected i called again to confirm and then they started giving me a run around saying they weren't sure that a team could visit....i simply said ok and then wrote an email stating that it's fine if they don't come today and disconnect the service but i will not pay a cent beyond the disconnection date....needless to say within an hour or two of sending the email a team came and removed the equipment....and that was the end of their service for me....

More expensive than Directv and Blink Entertainment, either they don't like their customers or planning some major improvements to justify that price increase.
