nah that evo has clutch, tune and exhaust i think

but seriously, bro ran a z06 aganist a evo 9 with ecu tune and everythign else stock

evo took him in 1/4

the launch is what kills the high powered v8 cars.

evo's have no slip at launch, hunkers down and shoots out the hole.

4 wheel drive power!!
one day i hope to own a s4 audi yes

btw with a BASIC ecu tune and exhaust alone, evos can run 11's to 12's whole day in the states.

our gas options here will allow our evos to run mid 12's whole day

add in cams, meth and ecu, u looking at mid 11's in tnt, lower in the states
all of this is pump gas not race fuel and of course higher boost levels

nigie, when we did have a track, evos used to run often you know :)

and yes my evo is a mid to high 12 second car.
i know off hand about 5 other evos that are low 12 and mid 11's

i know 2 that are mid 10's as well. and thats what i know from seeing them.. there are alot more i have not seen nor heard

there are out there driving around and look completely normal. do a call out of v8 against 4 cylinder when we get a track back and you will see them come out of the woodwork

but seriously.. i love teh z06, but give me a 4 wheel drive v8 and i will be happy. rear wheel whilst fun, can NEVER compare to 4 wheel drive stability.

simply look at the top gear vid of the evo fq 400 vs the lambo.....

4 wheel aganist 4 wheel.... stability and grunt and traction and control... evo is an amazing little car

Yes when we had a track evos used to run often...but mid 12s you say...
if i can ill check d records...Crix..and u may be pleasantly surprized
Yep u cant beat the stability etc of four wheel drive....but u cannot run from the fact that in terms of performance a bigger engine has many advantages...and u can ask any woman...bigger is better...lol

lol is how u use it eh

hey i not diagreeign with you eh. had this discussion with my two bros in the US.

1 has a transam collectors item. pushing 700 wheel
1 has gto pushing 750wheel and 600 something tq

v8's are great and all for long hauls last forever revs low at high speeds
its great for the US and aussie lol

not for here, UK or any other market.

in tnt gimme a turbo 4 cylinder everyday. i will enjoy it more. no roads for v8 power.. safely

friend of mine has an sl65 amg... v12 sweet no ass but not enough roads for it in tnt. it is a toy for him to be used 2-3 times a month

600 horses and counting BUDUP!!!

my comments are in the 240Z ched
imo it fail
there are many better ways to widen a 240z and keep the original design intact

again, as said before, your judging is very subjective.
Without specific criteria and proper assessment of each car up for a prize, then awards are meaningless.

Now, taking your 240Z as an example, that would fall into a modified / hot rod class of some sort, where in most instances, points are given for quality of execution / fit and finish, originality, theme etc.....so it can be a class winner, depending on what it's going up against...........

Aye who say dey that power is nothing unless u could get it 2 hook...with a v8 even if it doh hook ....it does spin your very very wide back tyres in a frenzy... smoking up the place with the attendant roar of the engine..giving the impression that Godzilla now let loose on d city...
